As fundraisers, hopefully we all know the impact of adopting an attitude of gratitude with our constituents. In case you forgot, let me give a little reminder. Even the smallest act of appreciation can strengthen our relationship with our supporters exponentially, which is why I like this quote:

When I train on cultivation, a key recommendation is to genuinely express thanks. Show appreciation. Share your gratitude. Be authentic.
If you did nothing else, you’re still likely to see indicators of constituent loyalty and dedication climb. The next time you draft an email, note, or message to a supporter, try starting with “I’m grateful for you because…”
